About

Though I wasn’t born here, Evanston has been home since I was 8 years old, over 43 years now. I was born in London to a British father and a Nigerian mother and spent my early years living in Ghana, Nigeria, and Egypt before my family settled in Evanston. Those international beginnings shaped my perspective, but it’s in Evanston that I’ve built lasting roots. I’m married with three wonderful kids, ages 12, 16, and 18, and we’re proud to be a part of this vibrant, creative community.

The arts have always played a significant role in my life. My mother was an artist in every sense, an accomplished painter, playwright, and singer whose creativity filled our home and inspired us all. My sister carries that spirit forward as a talented ceramicist and the founder of Edinburgh Pottery Studio, while my brother is also a professional photographer whose work you can see at Joseph Hunwick Photography. Creativity runs deep in my family, and photography has been my personal path into that world.

Photography has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. It all started when I was a kid, flipping through old family photo albums and realizing how powerful a single image could be, how it could hold onto a moment, a feeling, a story that might otherwise fade with time. That early fascination grew into a lifelong calling.

I specialize in candid photography because I believe the most meaningful moments are often the ones that happen naturally. There’s something deeply moving about capturing life just as it unfolds, authentic, spontaneous, and real. Whether I’m documenting a wedding, a milestone event, or an ordinary moment that turns out to be extraordinary, my goal is always to tell a genuine story.

Alongside candid work, I also offer a full range of photography services including headshots, weddings, and events of all kinds. No matter the occasion, I aim to create timeless images that reflect who you are and what matters most, images that will live on for years to come
